Week Sixteen

We start the week by painting the master bedroom, and then installing the new flooring in there.

Then our attention turns to trim, and the finishes. We trim all the door frames, windows and along the walls.

Then we cut and join the butcher block counter top, stain, seal and and install it. We also install the trim panel beside the dishwasher.

Then we install the sink, taps, and the dishwasher. The main water shut off valve is seized, so I cannot connect the water lines until we change it out, this cannot be done until after Christmas.

Then our attention turns to the basement, we clean it completely and then paint the floor.

At this point we are basically finished, we need to touch up paint here and there on trim and the doors, we install a new deadbolt on the front door, and clean everything until it sparkles. We are now ready to sell the house.
