Week Seven

This week we continue cleaning up the yard and basement, and paint the new window frames and the siding pieces we installed on the outside.

Next we remove the kitchen cabinets, and demo the wall behind where the new sink will be installed.

The next job this week is to begin the plumbing work, we need to move the main stack which was in one of the closets we just demo'ed,  and now its in the way, so we need to move it into a wall. We will also be roughing in the drains for the toilet, vanity and tub, as well as the kitchen sink.

The old stack is made from Cast iron, so we will cut it with a reciprocating saw and a metal blade, we can then break it into smaller pieces with a sledge hammer.

We needed to extend the stack in the attic to its new location, and then in the basement back over to the main drain. We are using ABS plastic pipe.
