We finish up the plumbing this week, by replacing all the old copper supply lines with PEX, we also install all new plastic ABS Drains and remove the old metal drain pipes.
We now turn to the bathroom floor, we need to replace some of the plywood as years of moisture have rotted it in places, and we will need to cover the old plumbing holes, we use 3/4 inch plywood, and finish it with underlay plywood to prep for the tile floor.
We also rebuild the wall behind the tub with new studs, and then install insulation and vapour barrier.
And finally this week, we frame in the old doorways into the bathroom and the closets.
